Our story
Built in a home office,
not a boardroom.
One racer couldn't find gloves that worked on the wheel. So we built our own. Now racers across Europe race in them.
It Started in a Home Office, Not a Boardroom
I'm Alex, and when this all began, I wasn't looking to build a company. I just wanted better gear for sim racing. The kind that actually fits the way we race, not borrowed from other sports, but designed specifically for the digital track.
So I set out to design something for myself. Something that felt right on the wheel, looked sharp, and could hold up through those marathon racing sessions that every sim racer knows too well.
Once I had that first prototype in my hands, I realized this was bigger than just solving my own problem. Other sim racers deserved the same thing.
Gear made for the wheel, not borrowed from another sport.
Building Something Different
Syncmesh was born from one belief: sim racers deserve gear made specifically for them. Not adapted from other sports. Not generic gaming accessories. Purpose-built equipment for long sessions at the wheel.
From day one, it has been about three things: performance you can feel, design that looks as good as it functions, and durability that matches competitive sim racing. What started as a small team in Herning has grown, but those principles have not changed.
From a Home Office to Dozens of Countries
The Early Days
Those first months were a blur of late nights, prototypes, and constant iteration. Working out of my home office, I was designing, testing, and refining every detail. The goal was not just to make gloves; it was to solve the specific problems that sim racers face during long sessions. Grip that actually worked. Materials that breathed. Durability that matched our passion.
The breakthrough came when I realized that traditional sports gloves were designed for completely different movements and environments. Sim racing needed something entirely new: gear built from the ground up for the digital track.
From Prototype to Product
Once I had a design that worked, the real challenge began: turning a home-office prototype into something other sim racers could actually buy. This meant finding manufacturers who understood the vision, establishing quality standards, and building the infrastructure to get gloves to racers in other countries.
Every step was a learning experience. From sourcing materials to packaging design, we approached each decision with the same attention to detail that went into the original glove design.
Scaling Up
As word spread through the sim racing community, demand grew faster than we anticipated. What started as a personal project was becoming a real business. We moved from hand-packing individual orders to establishing proper fulfillment processes, all while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that made the first gloves special.
The challenge was not just about volume; it was about preserving the essence of what made Syncmesh different while building systems that could serve sim racers around the world.
Today and Beyond
Today, Syncmesh ships to sim racers in dozens of countries. We have grown from a single glove to three glove families and our Pace S1 sim racing socks, but every product still gets the same obsessive attention to detail that went into that very first prototype. The scale has changed, but the mission has not.
What excites me most is not the growth; it is hearing from sim racers who tell us that our gear has made their racing experience better. That is what this was always about, and that is what will drive us forward.
Why We Keep Going
Even as we have grown, I still lead the design process and stay connected to the community that started it all. We listen, iterate constantly, and build with intention.
Does this make the racing experience better? That is still the only question that matters.
The sim racing community deserves gear made just for them. That is exactly what we will keep delivering, one lap and one product at a time.
Thanks for being part of this journey.

What we stand for
Three principles. No compromises.
-
01Tested performance
Every product is tested by real sim racers and refined through countless hours at the wheel. If it does not improve your racing, it does not ship.
-
02Purpose-built design
No borrowed aesthetics from other sports. Grip patterns, materials, and fit are all chosen for sim racing.
-
03Community first
The racers who wear our gloves shape what we make next. We listen, iterate, and improve based on their feedback.
