Grip M2X FAQ

Is the Grip M2X enough for a direct drive wheel?

Up to 16 Nm and around 8 to 15 hours a week, yes. That covers most direct drive bases. If your wheelbase runs stronger or you race more than that, look at the Grip M3 (up to 18 Nm) or the Grip M-PRO (20 Nm and up). Compare all three.

Can I use the Grip M2X on an Alcantara wheel?

Yes, and it's the glove we recommend for Alcantara and suede rims. A glove also keeps sweat and skin oils off the rim, and that is what mats and wears Alcantara. The glove guide quiz asks about your rim before it recommends anything.

Which size of the Grip M2X should I get?

Measure two things: around your hand at the widest point, just over the knuckles, and from the tip of your middle finger to where your palm meets your wrist. Enter both in the size calculator and it picks the size for you. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one.

How do I wash the Grip M2X?

By hand, with a mild detergent, then let them air dry away from heat and direct sun. No washing machine, no tumble dryer, no bleach. Keeping heat off the silicone grip is what makes a pair last. The full routine is in our glove care guide.

Why is the stitching on the outside?

So nothing rubs on the inside. With the seams on the outside, the glove is smooth against your fingers, which takes away the pressure points that build up over a long stint. Our materials guide covers how construction and fabric change the feel on the wheel.
