Sim racing glove FAQ
Which Syncmesh glove should I choose?
Start with your wheelbase and your hours. Up to 16 Nm and 8 to 15 hours a week: the Grip M2X. Up to 18 Nm and 10 to 18 hours: the Grip M3. Stronger than that, or long endurance stints: the Grip M-PRO. The glove guide quiz asks five questions and picks one for you.
Do sim racing gloves make a difference?
They keep your grip the same on the last lap as on the first. Over a long session sweat changes how your hands sit on the rim. A glove regulates temperature, puts silicone grip where your palm needs it, and takes the friction that would otherwise end up as blisters. More on when they help and when you can skip them: are sim racing gloves worth it?
Which glove works best on an Alcantara wheel?
The Grip M2X. It's our recommendation for Alcantara and suede rims. Any glove also keeps sweat and skin oils off the rim, and that is what mats and wears Alcantara.
How should sim racing gloves fit?
Snug, with the glove moving with your hand, not around it. Measure around your knuckles and from your middle fingertip to your wrist, then use the size calculator. All three lines share one size chart. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
How do I wash sim racing gloves?
By hand, with a mild detergent, then let them air dry away from heat and direct sun. No washing machine, no tumble dryer, no bleach. Keeping heat off the silicone grip is what makes a pair last. The full routine is in our glove care guide.
How long do Syncmesh gloves last?
Over a year of regular racing, with care. Hand washing and keeping heat off the silicone grip make the biggest difference.
Why do Syncmesh gloves have outside stitching?
So nothing rubs on the inside. With the seams on the outside, the glove is smooth against your fingers, which takes away the pressure points that build up over a long stint. Our materials guide covers how construction and fabric change the feel on the wheel.
